Each team must have a coach. The club provides assistance and manuals to all volunteers who agree to coach a team for the season. Coaches are required to comply with the Club's Code of Behaviour for Coaches.

Team Selections
All team placements are decided by the Club's Grading Committee after the players have completed physical grading. We also ask coaches to provide feedback on the players from the previous season and this is also considered in the decision making process. The number of teams selected is dependent upon the number of coaches and umpires available at the time of the trials.
The aim is to achieve teams that have a balanced group of players in playing positions and ability levels. The teams need to be balanced to ensure that there are players suitable for all positions to avoid a team full of Goal Shooters.
The Golden Grove Netball Club aims to ensure team grading is conducted fairly and effectively. Players and parents are urged to be objective and reasonable in their expectations.
Team Training
Attendance at training is compulsory. All teams train at the Atlantis Drive Courts on Wednesday commencing from 6.00pm. Coaches will contact players to advise of the training arrangements for each team.
